It took this receptionist just 7 words to break the first 3 of the 10 golden rules for great communication;

1, she sounded stressed;
2, she didn’t ask if I could wait on hold, she was telling me it was going to happen, plus... 
3, she didn’t give me the respect of listening for an answer.
